BRANDING, MERCH AND PACKAGING TRENDS
When it comes to great branding, a strong visual identity and memorable merchandise go hand in hand. We’re constantly collaborating with both new and established brands, helping them turn casual fans into lifelong evangelists through the power of compelling creative design.
From branding new product launches to designing limited edition merch, here are some of our favorite recent projects.
DESIGNS AND PRODUCTS WITH A PURPOSE
Anticipating an early 2020 launch, LUKI Brewing imagined a brand identity based on the central themes of family and shared experiences, but uniquely inspired by their family’s remarkable history — as Roaring 20’s era circus performers. With the desire to focus on the behind-the-scenes elements of camaraderie and the joy that comes from entertaining, we delivered LUKI a cheery, modern take on the classic circus look.
Pint Defiance, a specialty bottle shop and taproom in Tacoma, WA, approached us about designing a 2019 holiday glass. They wanted to maintain the wildlife theme and the mid-century modern style featured on last year’s holiday glass, in turn creating a limited edition winter series. This year’s glass establishes a cohesive identity for future releases, while having it’s own unique theme and playful look and feel.
CRAFT AXE THROWING
A growing entertainment venue with multiple locations across the Midwest and Southeast, Craft Axe Throwing came to us for help diversifying their branded apparel line with the target of growing merch sales. Starting with their existing crossed axes logo, we added the bullseye and tree line elements to give this tank an outdoorsy, adventurous identity, while staying true to the Craft Axe Throwing brand.
KENAI RIVER BREWING COMPANY
Beer and wine advent calendar boxes are a hot trend in holiday beverage merchandising, and Kenai River Brewing is ahead of the curve. Ready to build their own this holiday season, Kenai River approached us about designing a custom box to fit their brand. Drawing from their brand’s earthy colors and natural surroundings, we created a clean, recognizable winter-themed design that’s undeniably Kenai.
Branding and Packaging
TruBucha, a family owned “kombrewery” based in Denver, is introducing a new product — Tru Jun — to the market. Looking to develop the brand and label for their honey-infused kombucha, TruBucha challenged us to develop an identity that is easily recognizable and focused on the product. Utilizing a honeycomb-inspired pattern, we delivered a crisp, minimal design that allows the product itself to shine through.
